The difference is the environment: a class exclusively for women, coached with the same expertise and attention that defines every Zilla session.
What to Expect
Each session begins with a structured warm-up, moves into technique instruction with drilling, and finishes with positional sparring or live rolling appropriate to the group's experience level. The focus is always on building confidence, developing sound technique, and creating an atmosphere where every woman feels welcome and supported from day one.
Why Women's Only?
We know that walking into a martial arts gym for the first time can be intimidating: especially when most of the room is male. The women's only class removes that barrier entirely. Many of our members start here and go on to train in the mixed classes as well, but plenty continue to train exclusively in the women's sessions. There's no pressure either way: train however works for you.
BJJ is one of the most effective martial arts for self-defence, built around the principle that technique and leverage can overcome size and strength. That makes it particularly valuable for women, and our women's class ensures you can develop those skills in an environment where you feel completely comfortable.
